This retrospective, one of the most comprehensive and ambitious shows on Picasso to date, brings together over 400 works from Paris’s Picasso Museum.
The works, which came from the artist’s personal collection, are described as “Picasso’s Picassos” – paintings and sculptures that he was determined never to give up. Also included are ceramics, drawings, etchings, notebooks and a selection of 20 documentary photographs from the painter’s own archives.
