Florence
We only had a long weekend to do the city and so your tour really helped us get our bearings. There's just so much to see there! I know we only scraped the surface but it worked really well for us.

Venice
This was a great tour that took you everywhere you needed to go. Particularly liked the walk through of the mosaic frescoes on the front of the Basilica.
We had a great time in Venice, made all the more special by this evocative guide.
Like the speaker's voice too - one of the best I've listened to.

AMSTERDAM - New Richard Avedon retrospecitve
Amsterdam's Foam gallery is staging a restropsective of work by the artists Richard Avedeon, the first since his death in 2004.
Avedon remains one of the leading photographers of the latter half of the twentieth century, enjoying a star status. It was as a revolutionary fashion photographer that Avedon made his name in the 1950s but he was also a major innovator in modern portrait photography. Rather than portray famous figures in stiff, conventional poses, Avedon's powerful, subjective manner penetrated the personality of his subject. The exhibition features over 200 works.
