Florence
We only had a long weekend to do the city and so your tour really helped us get our bearings. There's just so much to see there! I know we only scraped the surface but it worked really well for us.

Venice
This was a great tour that took you everywhere you needed to go. Particularly liked the walk through of the mosaic frescoes on the front of the Basilica.
We had a great time in Venice, made all the more special by this evocative guide.
Like the speaker's voice too - one of the best I've listened to.

AMSTERDAM - Party like its 2011

Amsterdam city break.
On New Year's Eve, the Amsterdam’s Museumplein offers an absolute spectacle from 9pm onwards: 'The Staatsloterij New Year's Eve - Countdown in the Netherlands'. From 11pm onwards, the party will even be broadcast live on national television.
This year, the party on Museumplein will feature champagne, fireworks and oliebollen: New Year's Eve is the biggest party of the year. Museumplein isn’t actually included on the route of our Amsterdam audio guide but it’s one of the most famous addresses in Amsterdam and there are plenty of other things to see in Amsterdam on the tour.
Various artists will perform throughout the evening on New Year’s Eve. The programme is hosted by the Dutch TV personalities Beau van Erven Dorens and Tooske Ragas. For the sake of the many international tourists that visit
Amsterdam for New Year's Eve, it will be held in both Dutch and English. Museumplein might be huge, but its capacity is not unlimited - so be on time, the authorities advise. The entrance is by the Concertgebouw on Van
Baerlestraat. Entrance is free but there will be some checks. There's a number of rules: most importantly, you can't take fireworks or glass inside. Otherwise - just enjoy!
