Our Guides

Florence
We only had a long weekend to do the city and so your tour really helped us get our bearings. There's just so much to see there! I know we only scraped the surface but it worked really well for us.
Tanya Ellison - (27/08/06)

Venice
This was a great tour that took you everywhere you needed to go. Particularly liked the walk through of the mosaic frescoes on the front of the Basilica. We had a great time in Venice, made all the more special by this evocative guide. Like the speaker's voice too - one of the best I've listened to.

BERLIN - Theatre festival starts next weekend

Friday 24th February see the start of the 2011 Berlin theatre festival. "100° Berlin -

The Long Weekend of Independent Theatre" offers a next four-day marathon of free theatre in Berlin.  Anyone looking for Berlin tourist information will find that this is a great event, even if you’re not fluent in German.  The perfect accompaniment is our Berlin mp3 tour.

During the weekend 120 free theatre groups will play every hour: avant-garde performances, poetical, intimate plays, grand theatre, gala revue to sing along, street games, interventionist installations or weird musical.

This year the spectators become players themselves, and everyone can try his or her luck. To warm up there will be a round of NINJA! – with three brand-new street games Invisible Playground sneaks onto the testing area around HAU 123. “Sneak Prelude” is a vagrant format where new street games are being exposed to urban grounds by real players for beta tests. The group Machina eX makes point n’click adventures in real-life graphics. In interaction with the performers – the characters from the computer-games – and the hyper-realistically equipped room the audience will come up with a story that is being advanced by solving riddles.

With their thematic content and aesthetics these numerous projects result in a colourful disorder. In “Orlac Hand out, Mission Invisible 1” Copy & Waste collect all sorts of prostheses: artificial hands, crutches, wheelchair, sex toys and cameras. They ask the question: What is it that defines borderlines as a result of amputating, transplanting or replacing limbs? Hysterical glamour!
