Florence
We only had a long weekend to do the city and so your tour really helped us get our bearings. There's just so much to see there! I know we only scraped the surface but it worked really well for us.

Venice
This was a great tour that took you everywhere you needed to go. Particularly liked the walk through of the mosaic frescoes on the front of the Basilica.
We had a great time in Venice, made all the more special by this evocative guide.
Like the speaker's voice too - one of the best I've listened to.

BERLIN - Twenty years after the wall came tumbling down
It was an event that changed the world - but changed Berlin in a particularly significant way.
And so on November 9 Berlin Invites Everyone to the "Festival of Freedom"
On November 9, Berlin will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in a big way: with a "Festival of Freedom" and guests from all over the world. The evening will begin with an open-air concert by the Staatskapelle under the direction of Daniel Barenboim at the Brandenburg Gate. Following this, a row of dominoes made from a thousand artistically painted building blocks will be knocked over. Guests expected to attend include the former German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher and Nobel Peace Prize laureates Kofi Annan, Muhammad Yunus, and Mikhail Gorbachev.
