We only had a long weekend to do the city and so your tour really helped us get our bearings. There's just so much to see there! I know we only scraped the surface but it worked really well for us.

Venice
This was a great tour that took you everywhere you needed to go. Particularly liked the walk through of the mosaic frescoes on the front of the Basilica. We had a great time in Venice, made all the more special by this evocative guide. Like the speaker's voice too - one of the best I've listened to.

EDINBURGH - Six Lewis Chessman Go on Display

Six Lewis Chessmen from National Museums Scotland and 23 from the British Museum are starting the tour at National Museum of Scotland on 21 May Special events are scheduled featuring the Lewis Chessmen including the Unmasking the Lewis Chessmen seminar. 

  We discuss in our Edinburgh Mp3 tour, The National Museum of Scotland is one of the highlights of any Edinburgh city break.

A discussion called The Lewis Chessmen: Unmasked will cast fresh light on one of the most significant archaeological discoveries ever made in Scotland. The exhibition uses new research to look at the mystery and intrigue surrounding the Lewis Chessmen, explore the stories surrounding their discovery and show how the characters reflected society at the time they were made.

The pieces will then continue to further Scottish venues.
