Our Guides

Florence
We only had a long weekend to do the city and so your tour really helped us get our bearings. There's just so much to see there! I know we only scraped the surface but it worked really well for us.
Tanya Ellison - (27/08/06)

Venice
This was a great tour that took you everywhere you needed to go. Particularly liked the walk through of the mosaic frescoes on the front of the Basilica. We had a great time in Venice, made all the more special by this evocative guide. Like the speaker's voice too - one of the best I've listened to.

ROME - New exhibition devoted to Caravaggio

Caravaggio has always been regarded as one of the most remarkable and mysterious of the great masters. Anyone on a Rome city break will find his works dotted around the city. Now a new exhibition at the Palazzo Venezia (which features on our Rome iPod tour covering the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and Il Gesu among other Rome landmarks) seeks to illustrate more about his time in Rome.

Roma al Tempo di Caravaggio (Rome at the time of Caravaggio) brings together for the first time, 140 paintings, which trace the influences of Annibale Caracci and Carvaggio, who were contemporaries, on such artists as Lanfranco, Guido Reni, Gentileschi and Domenichino, as well as artists outside Italy, such as Ribera and Rubens.

Palazzo Venezia, via Plebecito 118

Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 7pm until 5th February 2012
