Our Guides

Florence
We only had a long weekend to do the city and so your tour really helped us get our bearings. There's just so much to see there! I know we only scraped the surface but it worked really well for us.
Tanya Ellison - (27/08/06)

Venice
This was a great tour that took you everywhere you needed to go. Particularly liked the walk through of the mosaic frescoes on the front of the Basilica. We had a great time in Venice, made all the more special by this evocative guide. Like the speaker's voice too - one of the best I've listened to.
Andrea How - (19/02/06)

mp3cityguides has launched its new Rome mp3 tour.  The audio guide to Rome is a new revamped and updated version of the very popular guide to the Vatican, the Via Giulia and Trastevere.

“I love Rome and I’m particularly proud of this tour as it takes in some of Rome’s less well known but very beautiful parts,” says Simon Brooke, Founding Partner of mp3cityguides.  “The Eternal City is always a joy to visit and anyone on a city break will almost certainly want to go to the Vatican but we’ve contrasted this with peace and quiet of the lovely Via Giulia which is just ten minutes’ walk away.”

More music plus sound effects have been added to make this guide to Rome more atmospheric and evocative.  Additional information means that not only do Rome visitors learn more about the city but they get a better feeling for it, its character and its remarkable history.

The tour then goes on through the elegant Piazza Farnese, the lively Campo dei Fiori and the historic Ghetto which is part of Rome’s darker history.  After strolling across the Tiber and talking about the island the tour arrives in Trastevere where it features three of Rome’s most interesting churches – Santa Cecilia, San Francesco di Ripa and Santa Maria in Trastevere.

The guide is out now priced £7.99
