Is that the sound of Ravel’s Bolero? You might not be Torville & Dean but you can get out on the ice this winter as the Paris authorities have set up two ice skating rinks.

There’s one outside the Hotel de Ville which is on our tour and the second which is slightly smaller is in the Place Raoul Dautry just outside Monparnasse station. Both will in action until the beginning of March.

You can hire skates at the rinks and there are expert skaters to help you on your way and give you advice. Children can enjoy a sledge run.
